1. Information We Collect

Drinksy is a local-first application. All data you enter — daily water goal, wake/sleep times, cup preferences, alarm schedules, and drink logs — is stored exclusively on your device using the Isar local database. No account creation is required, and no personal information is transmitted to our servers.

The following data is stored only on your device:

• Daily hydration goal (liters)
• Wake-up and sleep times
• Custom cup sizes
• Alarm schedule and completion history
• Drink log entries (amount and timestamp)

2. Automatically Collected Data

Drinksy uses the following third-party SDKs that may collect data automatically:

• Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage events (e.g., app open, screen views) to help us understand how the app is used. Data is aggregated and not linked to your identity. See Firebase Privacy.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports including device model, OS version, and the state of the app at the time of the crash. This data is used solely for debugging. See Firebase Privacy.

3. Advertising

Drinksy may display ads served by Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded ad formats. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID) to serve personalized ads in accordance with your device and regional privacy settings.

Ads are never shown on the alarm screen or during the "I Drank" action. Ads are limited to the statistics and settings screens.

4. Local Notifications

Drinksy schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to drink water. These notifications are generated entirely on-device using the awesome_notifications package. No notification token or device identifier is sent to any server.

5. Data Retention

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app. We do not retain copies of your data on any server.

Anonymized analytics data retained by Firebase is subject to Firebase's data retention policies.

6. Your Rights

Because Drinksy stores all personal data locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You may:

• View all stored data within the app (Settings screen)
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app
• Opt out of personalized ads through your device's privacy settings

For analytics data held by Firebase, you may contact us to submit a data deletion request.

7. Children's Privacy

Drinksy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
